“On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Department of Civil Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, in collaboration with the Foundation for the Development of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (the main organization for the continuous professional development of engineers by the Engineering Council), organized a training session on the topic ‘Design of Post-tensioned Slab.’ We were honored to have Mr. Pakpoom Wanichkamolnan, Managing Director of S.N.P. Post-Tension Co., Ltd., as the speaker for this session. The lecture aimed to provide participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge for the correct design of Post-tensioned Slabs, including material selection, tension force calculations, and installation. Participants will be able to apply the knowledge gained from this training in real work situations, as well as learn problem-solving techniques and adaptations for different environments. This lecture was conducted online via Zoom Meeting, with 370 participants attending.”
