The Department of Civil Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), in collaboration with the Foundation for the Development of KMUTT (the core organization for continuous professional development in engineering under the Council of Engineers), organized training sessions on the topics of “Soil Testing Interpretation” and “Foundation Design.”
The sessions were honored by guest speakers: Associate Professor Kasem Petchket, Chairman of Kasem Design and Consultant Co., Ltd., and Chairman of the Fundraising Committee of the Foundation for the Development of KMUTT, and Mr. Worapot Petchket, Managing Director of Kasem Design and Consultant Co., Ltd.
This lecture aimed to enhance knowledge among engineers and related professionals, providing insights into the benefits and methods of soil test interpretation, foundation design, and principles for resolving potential foundation issues.
The sessions were conducted free of charge in an online format via Zoom Meeting, with a total of 165 participants.
