Graduate Scholarship (Master’s Degree) for the Academic Year 2024
The Department of Civil Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) aims to support outstanding undergraduate students who have graduated in Civil Engineering from various universities and possess excellent academic performance, potential, and a desire to learn, to pursue graduate studies (Master’s Degree) in various programs under the Civil Engineering curriculum at KMUTT in the academic year 2024. Therefore, the department allocates FTERO budget funds for graduate scholarships as detailed below.
Total Scholarship Amount for Master’s Degree: 1,464,000 Baht
Objectives of the Scholarship:
1.To promote and publicize the graduate programs of the Department of Civil Engineering, KMUTT.
2.To encourage outstanding students to choose to continue their studies in the graduate programs of the Department of Civil Engineering, KMUTT.
3.To motivate students to be diligent and committed to completing their studies on time.
Diamond Scholarship Details:
Amount per Scholarship: 244,000 Baht
Number of Scholarships: 6 (1 per program), totaling 1,464,000 Baht.
Breakdown of Scholarship Support:
– Monthly Stipend: 6,000 Baht for 24 months, totaling 864,000 Baht for all programs offered by the Department of Civil Engineering. Students receiving the scholarship must enroll in a thesis course for 12 credits only.
– Tuition and Registration Fees: Up to 25,000 Baht per semester for 4 semesters (reimbursed as actually paid and in accordance with the graduate program framework), totaling 600,000 Baht for all programs offered by the department.
Eligibility Criteria for the Diamond Scholarship:
1. An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0.
2.Good conduct and high motivation to study.
Conditions:
1. Must study full-time in the regular program.
2. For part-time programs, students must complete a thesis for 12 credits only.
3. Must report progress every semester and maintain a GPA of no less than 3.5 in every semester.
4. Must perform academic duties as assigned by advisors and the department.
5. If a scholarship recipient withdraws from studies without completing the program, they must repay the department double the amount of the scholarship received.
6. The decision of the scholarship committee is final.
