On Monday, March 25, 2024, 20 fourth-year undergraduate students and graduate students from the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) visited the Chao Har Pichit Water Delivery and Maintenance Project in Klong Dan, Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Drainage and Sewerage Department. The purpose of this visit was to provide students enrolled in the course CVE483 Water Resources Development for the 2nd semester of the academic year 2023 with hands-on experience in irrigation work, water conveyance systems, drainage, and structures in irrigation canals, as well as understanding the balance and natural changes in river conditions, water quality management, and learning methods for managing water-related development projects.
