May 29, 2024, the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, organized the event “Removing the Tie for the Shop Coat, Taking Off the Shop Coat for the Shirt.” This event marks the ceremonial presentation of engineering lab coats to first-year students and the “BYE NIOR” activity for fourth-year students. During this event, engineer hats were awarded to 61st generation Civil Engineering students, and engineering lab coats were presented to 64th generation students. Attendees also had the opportunity to listen to inspiring words from the department’s faculty, providing insights on learning, working, and living in the future after graduation for the academic year 2023. The event was held at the ground floor of the 11-story Wisavavattana Building, with 180 participants in attendance.
