On Monday, March 11, 2024, 110 students from the 5th year of secondary school at Municipal School 6 in Chiang Rai visited the Department of Civil Engineering and various laboratories. Dr. Wongsanarin Khampho and Dr. Chanchai Petchpongpan, faculty members in the Water Resources Engineering program, provided insights and introduced the department’s information to the students. After the lecture, the students toured several laboratories, including the Hydraulics Laboratory, Geotechnical Laboratory, and Concrete Laboratory. The purpose of this visit was to allow students to engage in practical learning in the fields of engineering and applied sciences, enhancing their potential and academic knowledge. This experience also aimed to provide accurate information about their future studies and broaden the students’ educational perspectives. They had the opportunity to see real educational facilities, engage directly with faculty and staff, and experience a friendly atmosphere.
