The Department of Civil Engineering would like to thank the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand and the joint venture CST-PL for kindly allowing undergraduate students from the International Program and graduate students in Geotechnical Engineering to visit the construction site where the transition from above-ground structures to underground tunnels occurs at the Parliament Station in the Purple Line Electric Train Project, spanning from Tao Poon to Rat Burana (Kanchanaphisek Ring Road). They provided informative lectures on various station construction methods and guided us through the different stages of construction on Monday, April 29, 2024.
