On Thursday, July 18, 2024, the Department of Civil Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, in collaboration with the Foundation for the Development of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (the parent organization for the continuous professional development of engineers by the Engineering Council), organized a training session on the topic “Construction Project Management.” The honored speaker for this event was Dr. Sutthi Pasiphol, a special lecturer in the Construction Engineering and Management program at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. This lecture aimed to provide participants, particularly those in the real estate and engineering sectors, with an understanding of project management principles, an overview of project management, project planning according to the Critical Path Method (CPM), and how to apply these concepts effectively. Participants also learned about project monitoring and control, important issues and precautions, as well as basic principles related to personnel theory, to serve as guidelines for future project management applications. This lecture was offered free of charge in an online format via Zoom Meeting, with a total of 500 participants.
