Bachelor of Engineering Program Civil Engineering major

The Bachelor of Engineering program is a 4-year course conducted during regular office hours. It has been offered since 1971 and is well-known and recognized in the construction industry. The program has a large network of alumni who hold executive positions in both public and private organizations. The faculty consists of highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge, expertise, and real-world experience in the construction industry, as well as from leading organizations in the country. There are full scholarships and other types of financial aid available for applicants with excellent academic records.

1. Bachelor of Engineering Program in Civil Engineering (Regular Program)

Focuses on producing engineers with expertise in both theoretical and practical aspects of civil engineering. Graduates should be able to learn and apply modern technology for the benefit of the community without harming the environment. They should also be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with professionals from other fields, demonstrate responsibility, and uphold ethical standards, contributing positively to society.

2. Bachelor of Engineering Program in Civil Engineering (International Program)

Focuses on producing engineers with knowledge and skills equivalent to international standards, with the potential to work globally. The entire instruction is conducted in English.

Main Objectives of the Program

To produce graduates with sufficient knowledge to engage in civil engineering professions, such as structural design, construction management, materials quality inspection, and project planning, among others. The program also aims to provide knowledge and preparation for further studies at a higher level to conduct research. Graduates should be able to apply their knowledge effectively for societal development and meet the current needs of the construction industry.

Career Opportunities for Graduates

Opportunities for advancement in the civil engineering profession, including roles related to planning, design, construction management, maintenance, etc. Graduates can pursue further studies at the master’s and doctoral levels or work as engineers in government agencies, state enterprises, and private sector organizations.

Admission Selection Process

Selection is conducted through the system of the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC). Applicants must apply and take exams according to the conditions announced by OHEC each year. King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi handles its own selection process through various systems such as Active Recruitment, 2B – KMUTT, and Civil Camp, among others. Admission Requirements

Graduated from upper secondary education in the Science stream, Mathematics-Science stream, or a stream equivalent to the Science stream as recognized by the Ministry of Education. For the International Program, candidates who have completed 12 years of education or its equivalent from international curricula are also accepted. Curriculum Structure
