ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมโยธา มจธ. ได้รับเกียรติจาก Ms.Ploisongsaeng Intaratip และ Mr.Alex Wassman วิศวกรงานทางด้านจราจรและขนส่ง จาก Traffic Safety Advancements at Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา มาบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Traffic Safety Advancements at Missouri Department of Transportation, USA” โดยแบ่งปันองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์การใช้เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) และการเรียนรู้ของเครื่อง (ML) เพื่อคาดการณ์จุดเสี่ยงอุบัติเหตุ, เทคโนโลยีที่ช่วยเพิ่มความปลอดภัยและลดความแออัดบนถนน, ระบบสมาร์ทเวิร์กโซน (Smart Work Zone), และรถกันชนท้ายอัตโนมัติ (Automated Truck Mounted Attenuator) เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 22 เมษายน 2568 ณ อาคารวิศววัฒนะ ชั้น 2 ห้อง C04-202 โดยได้รับความสนใจจากนักศึกษาภาควิชาวิศวกรรมโยธา อาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ การบรรยายในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเรียนรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์กับผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับนานาชาติในด้านความปลอดภัยและการจัดการจราจรสมัยใหม่

 

Special Lecture on “Traffic Safety Advancements at Missouri Department of Transportation, USA”

The Department of Civil Engineering at KMUTT had the honor of welcoming Ms. Ploisongsaeng Intaratip and Mr. Alex Wassman, traffic and transportation engineers from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), USA, for a special lecture on the topic “Traffic Safety Advancements at Missouri Department of Transportation, USA.”

During the session, the speakers shared their knowledge and experiences in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to predict high-risk accident zones. They also presented cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing road safety and reducing congestion, including Smart Work Zone systems and Automated Truck Mounted Attenuators.

The lecture was held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Wissawawattana Building, 2nd Floor, Room C04-202, and attracted great interest from civil engineering students, faculty members, and staff.

This event was a valuable opportunity for participants to gain insights and exchange experiences with international experts in the field of modern traffic safety and management.
