เมื่อวันที่ 19 มิถุนายน 2568 ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมโยธา คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มจธ. ให้การต้อนรับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 จำนวน 33 คน จากมหาวิทยาลัย Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ ในโอกาสเยี่ยมชมภาควิชาฯ โดยมี ผศ. ดร.อภินัติ อัชกุล ผู้อำนวยการโครงการวิศวกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิตนานาชาติ ให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น ณ ห้อง C04-202 อาคารวิศววัฒนะ มีการบรรยายในหัวข้อ “Resilient Structural Systems: Precast Technologies and Self-Centering Innovations for Earthquake Resistance” โดย ผศ. ดร.เอกชัย อยู่ประเสริฐชัย ซึ่งเน้นเทคโนโลยีโครงสร้างสำเร็จรูปและนวัตกรรมระบบโครงสร้างที่สามารถคืนรูปได้เองหลังเกิดแผ่นดินไหวและต่อด้วยหัวข้อ “AI Application for Civil Engineering”โดย รศ. ดร.สมโพธิ อยูไว ซึ่งกล่าวถึงการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ในงานด้านวิศวกรรมโยธา นอกจากนี้น้องๆนักศึกษายังได้เยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการโครงสร้าง และห้องปฏิบัติการเทคนิคธรณี เพื่อสัมผัสกับอุปกรณ์จริง พร้อมเรียนรู้แนวทางการเรียนการสอนของภาควิชาฯอย่างใกล้ชิด กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือของมหาวิทยาลัยระหว่างประเทศ และเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ในระดับสากลอย่างแท้จริง

Department of Civil Engineering, KMUTT Welcomes Students from NDDU, Philippines
On June 19, 2025, the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), warmly welcomed 33 faculty members and third-year students from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU), Philippines, during their academic visit.
The delegation was cordially received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Apinat Achakul, Director of the International Bachelor of Engineering Program, at Room C04-202, Witsawawatthana Building.
The visit featured two academic lectures:
🔹 “Resilient Structural Systems: Precast Technologies and Self-Centering Innovations for Earthquake Resistance” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekkachai Yupasertchai, which highlighted advanced precast structural systems and self-centering innovations for seismic resistance.
🔹 “AI Application for Civil Engineering” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sompote Youwai, who introduced the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in civil engineering practices.
In addition, the students toured the Structural Laboratory and Geotechnical Laboratory, where they experienced real-world equipment and gained deeper insight into the department’s teaching and learning approaches.
This visit marks another important step toward strengthening international academic collaboration and providing students with valuable global learning and cultural exchange experiences.
